Candidates must have a flexible schedule and be available to work nights, holidays, weekdays, and weekends. The ideal candidate will connect with listeners, communicate effectively, and handle live calls on and off the air.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Create original content and performing live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative.</li>\n <li>Participate and create original content for all social media platforms; managing online personality presence</li>\n <li>Protect the station’s FCC license</li>\n <li>Monitor the music and commercial logs for the airshift</li>\n <li>Ensure that promotions and contests are executed properly</li>\n <li>Operate the control board and perform production work</li>\n <li>Make personal appearances at station events and remote broadcasts</li>\n <li>Other duties as required by management</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Required & Preferred:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>5+ years On Air experience preferred</li>\n <li>Knowledge of the Los Angeles market preferred</li>\n <li>Solid audio collection skills and working knowledge of studio audio equipment, including digital systems such as Sound Forge, Audition, & Wide Orbit.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in social media/digital content creation</li>\n <li>Willingness and availability to make scheduled appearances for sales and promotional purposes</li>\n <li>A coachable attitude… this position requires someone who is willing to work at their craft in order to be a valuable part of a winning team</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Important Notes:</h2>\n<p>Please be aware that Audacy will <strong>never</strong> ask you to send money at any point during the hiring process.
