We invest in your growth, empower you with the latest technology, and provide clear pathways for advancement.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary: </strong>Schedule, coordinate and supervise craft employee activities on heavy civil construction projects. May involve supervising one or more trade groups.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Plan and supervise craft activities - includes determining method of construction, manpower levels, material quantities, equipment, temporary power sources, work schedule and documenting actual hours worked.</li>\n <li>Coordinate assigned work with different crafts, company departments, or other contractors.</li>\n <li>Maintain liaison with engineering, estimating, and planning to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule.</li>\n <li>Assist in resolving construction problems (lack of productivity, work interfaces, etc.) as required.</li>\n <li>Assist labor relations department in maintaining communications with unions, resolving jurisdictional disputes, requisitioning required manpower, etc., as necessary.</li>\n <li>Monitor craft compliance with project safety program and environment requirements; document and ensure corrective measures are implemented.</li>\n <li>Maintain liaison with other departments (i.e., Material Control, Purchasing, QC) to ensure all required materials, equipment, inspections, etc., support craft activities and project schedule.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements.</li>\n <li>Complete other assignments as assigned by your direct supervisor.</li>\n <li>Maintain an insurable driving record.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent combination of technical training and experience.</li>\n <li>Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in the construction industry.</li>\n <li>Experienced in construction scheduling, cost control, technology, methods, equipment, tools and work procedures required.</li>\n <li>Superior communication and interpersonal skills essential.</li>\n <li>Skilled in assuming responsibility and reaching deadlines.</li>\n <li>Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook</li>\n <li>Must be willing and able to travel.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to move up to 100 lbs. repetitively.</li>\n <li>Frequent bending, standing, lifting, climbing, and ongoing physical activity.</li>\n <li>Regular exposure to outdoor elements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Why Work for WW Clyde?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Competitive Compensation & Benefits:</strong> Health, dental, vision, life insurance, 6% 401(k) match, profit sharing, paid holidays, and PTO.</li>\n <li><strong>Performance-Based Bonus:</strong> Rewarding your dedication and project success.</li>\n <li><strong>Career Development:</strong> Ongoing training, mentorship, and clear advancement paths.</li>\n <li><strong>Stable, Respected Employer:</strong> Join a century‑strong leader in heavy civil construction.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>*As part of our hiring process, <strong>all candidates are subject to a comprehensive background check</strong>.
