We are seeking dedicated individuals who are passionate about promoting mental wellness and providing support to teenagers and their families facing dynamic challenges back at home.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a crucial role in fostering a safe and supportive environment for our clients to grow, develop and apply transferable coping skills, and reconnect with peers, themselves, and their families using our proven and effective therapeutic approach.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>If you are empathetic, patient, and committed to empowering others on their journey towards sustainable mental wellness, we encourage you to apply and become part of our dynamic team dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of teenagers and their families!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Ensure Client Safety</strong></li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Supervision of client emotional and physical safety</li>\n  <li>Provide early intervention ahead of and during emotional and behavioral crises</li>\n  <li>Maintain personal and professional boundaries</li>\n </ul>\n <li><strong>Align and Operate within the Treatment Team’s Approach for Each Client</strong></li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Attend to daily Treatment Team direction for updates on client treatment protocol application</li>\n  <li>Communicate and collaborate with supervisors and clinicians regarding client issues and notable progress</li>\n  <li>Document client progress notes daily</li>\n </ul>\n <li><strong>Provide Quality and Engaging Client Services</strong></li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Encourage client engagement in activities of daily living (ADLs) and coping skill applications</li>\n  <li>Coach and develop client social skills</li>\n  <li>Plan and facilitate client activities in art, music, yoga, fitness, and a variety of other on and off campus activities</li>\n </ul>\n <li><strong>Grow and Develop with the Residential Team!</strong></li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Practice a growth mindset with focus and application of the company core values</li>\n  <li>Integrate specialized trainings</li>\n  <li>Enjoy and contribute to ongoing professional development and growth</li>\n </ul>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED.</li>\n <li>Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work or related field preferred, but not required. </li>\n <li>21+ years of age or older</li>\n <li>Able to pass pre-employment drug screen</li>\n <li>Able to pass criminal investigation background check</li>\n <li>Current driver's license required</li>\n <li>EMT/CNA background preferred</li>\n <li>Ability to effectively communicate and build healthy relationships.</li>\n <li>Ability to set and teach positive values</li>\n <li>Ability to perform CPR and First-Aid.</li>\n <li>Ability to safely hold or restrain an upset or combative student</li>\n <li>Skill in de-escalating agitated students.</li>\n <li>Preferred - One year of experience in a residential setting using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities.</li>\n <li>Ability to plan, implement, and adjust to plans accordingly</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Embark is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
