The RN will work collaboratively with our team of physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across a range of obstetric and gynecologic services. We even offer pet insurance for your four-legged family members. • Early access to earned wages with Daily Pay, tuition reimbursement to help further your career and adoption assistance to help you grow your family. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>With a collective goal to champion a culture of belonging where everyone feels valued and respected, we honor the ways people are unique and embrace what brings us together.   </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>And, we believe equipping you with support and development opportunities is a vital part of delivering an exceptional employment experience. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Join our team of experts and make a difference with UnityPoint Health.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<h3> </h3>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Provide direct patient care including assessments, education, and triage in an OB/GYN setting.</p></li>\n <li><p>Support providers with in-office procedures (e.g., colposcopies, IUD insertions, biopsies).</p></li>\n <li><p>Administer medications and injections, including vaccines and hormone therapies, as prescribed.</p></li>\n <li><p>Assist with prenatal care, postpartum follow-ups, and routine gynecologic visits.</p></li>\n <li><p>Educate patients about reproductive health, pregnancy, contraception, and preventive care.</p></li>\n <li><p>Triage patient phone calls and messages, assessing urgency and coordinating appropriate follow-up.</p></li>\n <li><p>Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).</p></li>\n <li><p>Ensure compliance with all clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.</p></li>\n <li><p>Collaborate with front desk and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow and scheduling.</p></li>\n <li><p>Participate in ongoing staff education, quality improvement initiatives, and team meetings.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong>Active Registered Nurse (RN) license</strong> in the state of <strong>Iowa</strong> (required).</p></li>\n <li><p>Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).</p></li>\n <li><p>Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience (OB/GYN or women’s health experience strongly preferred).</p></li>\n <li><p>Current BLS certification (required).</p></li>\n <li><p>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</p></li>\n <li><p>Proficient in using EMR systems (experience with [insert system name if known, e.g., Epic, Athena, etc.]).</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced clinic environment.</p></li>\n <li><p>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.</p></li>\n <li>For positions within UnityPoint Clinic, team members may be required to work at or to float to other locations to support optimized staffing</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>",
