    "description": "<p>Construction Fleet Mechanic for our Lancaster Ohio Location</p>\n<p>Essential Functions:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diagnose, service and repair various systems that are found on pieces of heavy equipment such as mechanical and computer electronic controls, air brake systems, transmissions, computer controlled automatic and manual transmissions, and pneumatic systems.</li>\n<li>Participate in the review of some operational and mechanical safety related issues associated with the fleet including.</li>\n<li>Perform routine preventative maintenance such as lubricating, oil changes, and failure analysis.</li>\n<li>Perform routine brake inspections/ adjustments on commercial vehicles following Federal DOT requirements.</li>\n<li>Create work orders on repairs and services providing legible and accurate information for work performed.</li>\n<li>Coordinate with location supervisor and review Pre-Trip truck inspections to prioritize work accordingly.</li>\n<li>Input daily repair reports into software-based tracking program.</li>\n<li>Communicate with drivers and plant managers to ensure adherence to preventative vehicle maintenance policies and practices.</li>\n<li>Use a wide variety of hand and power tools, cutting torches and welding equipment.</li>\n<li>Order parts from approved vendors and drive Company pick-up/repair truck to pick up parts when needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>What you’ll need:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Driver's License</li>\n<li>Your own tools</li>\n</ul>\n<p>How you’ll succeed:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>You are ready to work as part of a team</li>\n<li>Have an eagerness to learn</li>\n<li>You can lift up to 50 pounds</li>\n<li>Have full mobility and the ability to work with your hands above your head</li>\n<li>Can stand for extended periods of time and climb stairs</li>\n<li>Pass a background check and drug screen</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Benefits include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive pay &amp; flexible work schedule</li>\n<li>On-the-job training</li>\n<li>We promote from within</li>\n<li>Paid vacation, holidays</li>\n<li>Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) savings plans*</li>\n<li><em>Terms and conditions apply*</em></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Skills:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diesel engines</li>\n<li>Mechanic experience</li>\n<li>Driving</li>\n<li>Brakes</li>\n<li>Welding</li>\n<li>Diagnostics</li>\n<li>Data entry</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Precision Pipeline is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
