Other minor duties may be assigned.</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Operate equipment such as Fork lift (Telehandler), Skid Steer with various other small machinery</li>\n <li>Follow all required safety policies and procedures</li>\n <li>Effective communication with drivers, employees, and management via hand held radios and CBs</li>\n <li>Routinely set up and inspect equipment prior to operation</li>\n <li>Have knowledge of machine capabilities and limitations</li>\n <li>Observe hand signals, grade stakes, or other markings when operating machines to perform work duties in compliance of safety specifications</li>\n <li>Receive written and oral instruction regarding material movement</li>\n <li>Move materials around railyard</li>\n <li>Maintain an efficient flow to reduce traffic congestion</li>\n <li>Follow OSHA safety standards and wear required PPE</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements and Qualifications:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.</li>\n <li>Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds</li>\n <li>Minimum 2 years’ experience as Equipment Operator required.</li>\n <li>Experience from the sanitation industry is strongly preferred.</li>\n <li>Able to work in an outdoor environment on a constant basis while being exposed to variable weather conditions, temperatures, chemicals, dust, fumes, smells, and loud noises.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Information</h2>\n<p>This job description is intended to be an accurate representation of the general functions of the job, rather than exhaustive list of duties, responsibilities, or experience.
