    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p><br></p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Job Purpose</strong></p><p>The Quality Control Inspector- DER/PMA ensures aviation articles meet manufacturer and operator specifications, including Dimensions, condition, operational limits, and compliance with the company&rsquo;s Quality Management System. This role is critical in maintaining adherence to quality procedures, customer requirements, and regulatory standards set by federal and other governing agencies.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Essential Job Functions:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Conduct thorough inspections using various methods to assess product airworthiness.</li><li>Interpret engineering publications, shop travelers, FAA regulations, and manufacturer technical data and drawings to define inspection scope.</li><li>Determine optimal inspection techniques and sequence of operations.</li><li>Use precision measuring instruments to verify part dimensions, tolerances, and clearances.</li><li>Review trace documentation to identify potential unapproved parts.</li><li>Accurately interpret technical data, blueprints, and engineering drawings.</li><li>Identify discrepancies in aircraft components and systems.</li><li>Maintain clear, accurate records of maintenance and inspections.</li><li>Audit maintenance documentation for completeness and accuracy prior to return-to-service approval.</li><li>Perform in-process inspections during maintenance activities.</li><li>Document discrepancies using company forms and communicate findings to technicians and department leads.</li><li>Enter inspection results and maintenance data into electronic systems.</li><li>Verify article configuration and functionality using appropriate technical references.</li><li>Communicate inspection outcomes effectively in both verbal and written formats.</li><li>Support other inspectors and technicians through mentoring and guidance.</li><li>Collaborate with management and planning teams to prioritize tasks.</li><li>Monitor compliance with 14 CFR Part 145, Part 21 and the FAA-approved Repair Station/Quality Control Manual.</li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned by the Quality Control Manager or Chief Inspector.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High School Diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>Valid and current FAA Airframe &amp; Powerplant or Powerplant certification.</li><li>Minimum 18 months of hands-on experience with inspection techniques.</li><li>At least 5 years of experience in a Repair Station or aviation maintenance facility.</li><li>Strong understanding of airworthiness standards and return-to-service procedures.</li><li>Background in aircraft emergency equipment maintenance or inspection is an asset.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication.</li><li>Strong task prioritization and time management.</li><li>Proficiency in basic shop math.</li><li>Foundational knowledge of aviation sciences (e.g., aerodynamics, hydraulics, electrical and pneumatic systems).</li><li>Basic computer literacy.</li><li>Skilled in using calibrated measuring tools and general hand tools.</li><li>Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.</li><li>Familiarity with engineering concepts is desirable.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li></ul><p><strong>Physical and Work Condition Requirements:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.</li><li>Flexibility to maneuver into various positions for inspection tasks.</li><li>Ability to reach, kneel, climb ladders, and ascend/descend stairs.</li><li>Occasional exposure to loud environments.</li><li>Contact with chemicals and cleaning agents.</li><li>Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.</li></ul><p><br></p></div></div>\n",
