The Technician is responsible for preparation and maintenance of PRG’s most basic lighting equipment. He/she will also assist in other departments in configuration and assembly of client orders. \n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintains and enters all factory acceptance testing and QC documentation</li>\n <li>Ensures maintenance policies and procedures are met and related paperwork is in order</li>\n <li> Ensures all equipment QC deadlines are met</li>\n <li>Preconfigures fixtures to project  specifications such as DMX Modes or addresses</li>\n <li> Cross-trains to assist in different departments as required</li>\n <li> Leads by example and encourages subordinates and peers to perform work in a safe manner, wear’s proper PPE, adhere to safety standards and policies, and remain accident free.</li>\n <li> Keeps work area clean and organized </li>\n <li> Other duties as assigned or directed</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>+1 years of lighting repair or infield experience</li>\n <li>Basic understanding of DMX Protocol, Control and operation</li>\n <li> Basic understanding of standard electrical procedures for safety, knowledge of standard electronic test equipment and basic A/C, D/C and digital circuit operation.</li>\n <li> Developed electrical basics & fundamentals in troubleshooting</li>\n <li> Ability to troubleshoot, prioritize and execute all job related tasks with thorough attention to detail</li>\n <li> Must have strong organizational skills and be able to prioritize work to meet deadlines</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Working conditions</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li> Must be able to multi-task in fast-paced environment, under pressure, and time constraints </li>\n <li> Ability to work flexible hours and overtime, including weekends and holidays, when needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li> While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. </li>\n <li>The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. </li>\n <li>Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>EEO and Disclosure</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>PRG is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
