We are seeking elementary teachers who love to spend time with children, are kind-hearted, and desire to cultivate wisdom.&nbsp;</strong>Palm Beach Christian Academy (PBCA) is the school ministry of Family Church.&nbsp;As an elementary education professional, you will help shape future Christian leaders who will advance God&rsquo;s church, community, and His Kingdom on earth. This position implements a classical Christian curriculum that involves a love for ancient wisdom, instilling virtue, connecting Christ to every subject, and developing world class rhetorical skills. The ideal candidate will work closely with their team to create a vibrant classical Christian school culture.</span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong>This is a 10-month position, reports to the School Administration.</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Write lesson plans and newsletters that meet the goals as set forth by the principal and pacing guides in curriculum.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Teach knowledge and skills to students utilizing the course of study prescribed by the approved curriculum.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Adapt curriculum to the needs of the students with varying intellectual abilities, and to accommodate variety of instructional needs.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Evaluate each student; communicate with parents and Administration on individual student&rsquo;s progress.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Evaluate each student&rsquo;s progress to the level being taught and prepare report cards.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Follow Policies and Procedures as set forth by Administration.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Provide a clean, safe, and nurturing classroom environment.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Participate in all school meetings, trainings, and orientations.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Complete all in-service hours on time.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Turn in all required paperwork on time.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Maintain parent board and bulletin board.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Cooperate in school-wide supervision of students during out-of-school activities.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Maintain appropriate records for students.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Establish and maintain standards for acceptable student behavior using appropriate techniques.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Strive to continuously build knowledge and skills, share expertise with others.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Follow directives from the Team Leader.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">All other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong>Qualifications</strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li id=\"isPasted\" style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Evidence of strong Christian faith and values and attestation of the School&rsquo;s Statement of Faith and Staff Leadership Covenant.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Must hold a bachelor&rsquo;s or higher degree or have at least three years of teaching experience in public or private schools, or have special skills, knowledge, or expertise for qualification to provide instruction in subjects taught.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Degree in education and/or teaching certification preferred.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Evidence of knowledge of elementary curriculum and the ability to implement it.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Must be able to manage a classroom.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Evidence of ability to interact collaboratively with students, parents, and Administration.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Evidence of excellent oral and written
