We are recruiting a Supervisor at Pictsweet's flagship manufacturing facility in Bells, TN. The Supervisor will be responsible for the management of the department during an assigned shift. This role will coordinate departmental activities with other managers and supervisors to ensure production meets budget, scheduling, and quality standards. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Benefits</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Benefits begin on first day of employment for Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA, & FSA</p></li>\n <li><p>100% Company paid benefits include Group Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, & Long-Term Disability Insurance</p></li>\n <li><p>401k with Employer Match</p></li>\n <li><p>Vacation days, sick leave, & ten paid holidays</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensures and monitors all quality and food safety systems in place for the production of quality products manufactured under clean and safe conditions.</li>\n <li>Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulations relating to food safety and personnel safety such as FDA, USDA, OSHA, and TOSHA. </li>\n <li>Follows all Company policies and procedures and ensures a safe work place.</li>\n <li>Coordinates production scheduling with management, warehouse, quality control, and maintenance personnel.</li>\n <li>Monitors production lines and directs dailiy production schedule. Visually inspects work areas and production equipment, ensures equipment operates properly, and notifies maintenance if repairs need to be completed.</li>\n <li>Monitors the hourly HACCP checks and ensures compliance with standards and procedures and takes corrective action if needed.</li>\n <li>Monitors, trains, and evaluates hourly associates and provides counsel as necessary.</li>\n <li>Monitors and evaluates production performance to ensure performance standards are met. Adjusts product, manpower, and equipment resources as needed.</li>\n <li>Implements corrective action when process deviations occur in accordance with the facilities HACPP program and notifies appropriate personnel.</li>\n <li>Controls costs, operates within budget parameters, and maintains appropriate production records and statistical reports.</li>\n <li>Communicates frequently with plant management regarding production. Anticipates and resolves problems.</li>\n <li>Assist in both internal and external food safety audits. Conducts food safety and personnel safety training. </li>\n <li>Serves on the Emergency Response Team and serves as a first responder to accidents and participates in all required meetings. </li>\n <li>Assist in timekeeping and learn appropriate systems to manage associates' time.</li>\n <li>Perform all other duties appropriate to the position as requested by the supervisor.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree or ten years' experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing or food environment.</li>\n <li>Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed</li>\n <li>Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) helpful but not required </li>\n <li>Must be computer proficient with spreadsheets and word-processing</li>\n <li><strong>Must reside within 15 miles of Bells, TN or be willing to relocate</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p>The Pictsweet Company is an equal opportunity employer.
