This is a full-time, exempt, non-year-round position.<br><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(29, 18, 12); font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-style: italic\">The ideal candidate will drive student outcomes by:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Aligning planning to the Common Core Standards and student assessment data</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Using data-driven techniques to set ambitious goals for scholars</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Maintaining consistent communications with families regarding student progress</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Holding weekly Office hours after school</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Build positive and trusting relationships with students, families, and community members, and support parent engagement in student success</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-style: italic\">Maintain strong classroom and school culture by:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Clearly and consistently communicating and upholding school rules, values, and expectations in and out of the classroom</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Setting an urgent, respectful, and positive tone in the classroom</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Displaying extraordinary time management to maximize student learning</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Building relationships with students that communicate the importance of college success and your belief that they will succeed</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Building a collaborative, respectful advisory classroom community</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Taking on responsibilities outside of their content area instruction such as advisory, lunch duty, enrichment classes, and after school activities</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Work with other teachers and administrators to address and resolve student issues</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Attend professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops to maintain and improve professional competence.
