Headquartered in Vancouver, Washington, NJFC has been providing our nation&rsquo;s discerning foodservice, retail, industrial and institutional customers with the finest quality canned and pouched products for over 50 years. NJFC operates three production facilities: Northwest Packing in Vancouver, WA.; San Benito Foods, in Hollister, CA; and Toma-Tek in Firebaugh, CA. &nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>We are looking for a part-time<strong>&nbsp;3rd Shift Quality Assurance Lab Technician</strong> to be responsible for the grading of processed and raw fruit products in accordance with standard operating procedures; recording, checking and retrieval of QA information. Performs laboratory analyses on samples and related work associated with monitoring and sampling. &nbsp; Ensures timely and accurate documentation is completed at our Northwest Packing plant in Vancouver, WA. This is a 3rd shift, 11:00 pm &ndash; 7:00 am, part-time job &ndash; (full time during our fresh pack season, typically July &ndash; November, and when running production off season, part time the rest of the year).&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>For additional information, please see our &ldquo;About Us&rdquo; video, <a href=\"https://neiljonesfoodcompany.com/about-us/\" target=\"_blank\">Our Story - Neil Jones Food Company</a></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintains all required QA analysis documentation.</li><li>Performs laboratory analyses on samples and related work associated with monitoring and sampling; tests and inspects samples in various stages of production.</li><li>Ensures accurate and timely input of data to information systems and recommends and/or performs appropriate actions when data indicates unsatisfactory operations.</li><li>Notifies Lab Supervisors and Production Managers of any deviations of quality or safety factors.</li><li>Communicates effectively with managers, supervisors and mechanics in both written and spoken forms.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong>:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High School diploma or equivalent and 1 year of office or manufacturing experience preferred.</li><li>Basic knowledge of quality assurance procedures and protocols, attention to detail and ability to multi-task.</li><li>Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English.</li><li>Requires walking, reaching with hands and arms; may climb or balance; may stoop, kneel or crouch.
