Description

This position is contingent upon successful contract award. Oversee end-to-end lifecycle of official joint and service publications. This role requires a unique blend of doctrinal expertise and technical mastery of DoD-specific content management systems. Lead production of critical information, ensure every product—whether digital or print—meets the highest standards of clarity, organizational terminology, and public-facing compliance. Job Roles & Responsibilities Production & Schedule Management: Direct the full production lifecycle of doctrinal and organizational products. Utilize tracking tools to manage complex schedules, ensuring all milestones are met without compromising product quality. Content Strategy & Management: Oversee content management strategy, ensuring information is archived, updated, and accessible across the enterprise. Public Information Systems Oversight: Manage and update web-based content using the American Forces Public Information Management System (AFPIMS) , ensuring all digital footprints align with DoD Public Web standards. Editorial Leadership: Direct, manage, and coordinate large-scale editorial initiatives. Set the standard for order, clarity, conciseness, and terminology across all organizational communications. Performance Management: Coordinate performance metrics related to publishing and communications, identifying bottlenecks in the development process and implementing streamlined workflows. High-Level Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between doctrine developers, service leads, and public affairs offices to ensure a unified and professional organizational voice. Travel may be required
