Be a part of the team that makes this happen!</p><p><strong><u>Position Overview</u></strong></p><p>We are seeking a results-driven Local Market Manager - Recovery to drive growth across our Refrigerant Recovery Programs. This dynamic leadership role blends hands-on refrigerant recovery field service work, direct sales, and technician management. You&rsquo;ll oversee both a Recovery Technician and an Exchange Technician, ensuring operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth.</p><p>You will actively develop new business opportunities, pursue new customer relationships, perform recovery jobs, and assist with exchange operations as needed. &nbsp;This is a field-facing leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in service, sales, and people management, and can effectively balance the demands of each on a daily basis.</p><p>The ideal candidate must have a background in sales, service, excellent leadership skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. &nbsp;This is a full-time position in the NYC Metro area.</p><p><strong><u>Key responsibilities, include, but are not limited to:</u></strong></p><p><u>Leadership &amp; Oversight</u></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Manage and support the Recovery Technician and Exchange Technician, setting daily schedules, ensuring job readiness (staffing, equipment etc), and quality standards are met.</li><li>Provide coaching, mentorship, and accountability to ensure consistent performance and development.</li><li>Monitor and report on technician performance, recovery volumes, and customer feedback.</li><li>Act as the go-to field leader and liaison between technicians and corporate operations.</li></ul><p><u>Business Development &amp; Sales</u></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Prospect and qualify new customers for the recovery and exchange programs</li><li>Schedule and perform in-person visits and follow-up calls to present Hudson&rsquo;s full-service recovery solutions.</li><li>Convert &ldquo;buy-back only&rdquo; or inactive customers into full-service partners.</li><li>Track all sales activities and recovery opportunities in CRM system.</li><li>Collaborate with customer service, sales and finance teams to coordinate scheduling, billing, and follow-up.</li></ul><p><u>Recovery Operations</u></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Operate a small-format recovery truck and perform on-site refrigerant recovery for a variety of applications</li><li>Step in to assist with cylinder exchanges when additional support is needed.</li><li>Ensure all work follows Hudson SOPs, EPA regulations, and safety protocols.</li><li>Submit completed work orders, BOLs, and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.</li><li>Serve as a face of Hudson in the field, building trust through professionalism and service excellence.</li></ul><p><strong>Required skills and experience:</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years of experience in HVAC, refrigerant recovery, or environmental services.</li><li>Proven track record in outside sales or business development.</li><li>3-5 years&rsquo; experience in managing field or technical staff&nbsp;</li><li>EPA 608 Universal Certification required.&nbsp;</li><li>OSHA 10, OSHA 40/SST certification, or willingness to obtain certifications, is highly preferred</li><li>Commercial Driver&rsquo;s License (CDL) with HazMat endorsement preferred</li><li>Comfortable with physical labor and operating recovery machines and cylinder handling equipment.</li><li>Excellent communication (verbal and written), organization, and customer service skills.</li><li>Tech-savvy and proficient using digital work orders, CRM tools, and mobile apps.</li><li>Clean driving record and willingness to travel within assigned territory.</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">DOT card required or able to be obtained within 14 days of hiring</li><li>This position is subject to DOT testing following hire</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Culture</u></strong></p><p>At Hudson Technologies, you&rsquo;ll find a supportive community where each person helps each other to be their best self.
