    "description": "<h2>Job Description & Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer who will be responsible for leading research and development of new products, leading improvements existing products and overall Systems solutions. This role will play a critical role developing Wave Relay Product solutions with our DOD customers.  The Senior Electrical Engineer will identify customer needs through face-to-face interaction and play a critical role in developing the product solution.  The Senior Electrcial Engineer will operate out of our New York City headquarters and manage projects involving a variety of functions with both on-site and remote teams.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Responsibilities</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Managing, deriving, and capturing Product/Program requirements including mechanical and electrical interface design specifications, component requirements, and functional block diagrams</li>\n <li>Supporting software and hardware testing</li>\n <li>Supporting and facilitating engineering projects including new product/solution development, product changes, and customer integration</li>\n <li>Leading engineering projects including new product/solution development, product changes, and customer integration</li>\n <li>Supporting the change management process to ensure all required actions have been completed and that communication to key stakeholders is maintained</li>\n <li>Ensuring quality documentation is updated/created as required, including technical manuals</li>\n <li>Providing support and delivering solutions for rapid development projects</li>\n <li>Modifying and updating requirements documents</li>\n <li>Coordinating preparation of design drawings including updates</li>\n <li>Supporting and facilitating project scheduling</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Job Qualifications & Experience </h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science or related field</li>\n <li>At least 7 years working as a Product Designer demonstrating powerful design thinking in both interaction and experience design</li>\n <li>Defense Project Management Experience interfacing directly with customers for networking architecture solutions and product integration solutions</li>\n <li>Proven understanding of the end-to-end design process, including research, prototyping, usability testing</li>\n <li>Experience with complex systems development, evaluation and requirements capture</li>\n <li>Experience with electrical and mechanical interface requirements</li>\n <li>Experience in risk analysis and progress reporting</li>\n <li>Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time</li>\n <li>Must have a United States security clearance or the ability to obtain a United States security clearance </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>10+ years of systems engineering and networking experience</li>\n <li>5 years of systems engineering and networking experience</li>\n <li>Experience with Embedded Linux</li>\n <li>Knowledge of audio/video encoder/decoders and interfaces</li>\n <li>Experience in electromagnetic capability (EMC) testing and design</li>\n <li>Knowledge of military certification/qualification testing</li>\n <li>Experience with enclosure/packaging design for hardware</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The base pay for this role can vary from $165,000 to $210,000 a year based on individual qualifications. Eligibility for yearly discretionary bonus.
