    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Why join Hologic:</strong></p>\n<p>You will have the opportunity to get in on the ground floor at a high growth world class manufacturing facility working on life-saving medical devices with potential for future growth.&nbsp; This is a great opportunity to enhance your manufacturing operation skills and knowledge to further your career.</p>\n<p><strong>What to expect:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Supervise the day-to-day processes of manufacturing operations, ensuring production plans and designed quality specifications are met while complying with regulatory (QSR, ISO, EH &amp; S) and Hologic’s quality standards.</li>\n <li>Direct supervision and monitoring of employee's performance to documented procedures and established goals.</li>\n <li>Supervises production schedule to max efficiency and timeliness, within assigned budget.</li>\n <li>Participates in cost savings events</li>\n <li>Provide leadership to direct reports on Continuous Improvement initiatives.</li>\n <li>Provides support to Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Regulatory Affairs and Quality through participation in process control activities, and special testing, as required.</li>\n <li>Ensure 6S compliance as well as drive and lead other Lean initiatives.</li>\n <li>Ensure that design, implementation, test and maintenance methods/processes are developed as well as executed in a manner, which supports all Quality Standards.</li>\n <li>Responsible for e-time (or similar) reporting and scheduling/approving employee vacation/personal time to ensure that day to day operations needs are met.</li>\n <li>Conduct departmental audits of the Production process to ensure compliance with regulatory (QSR, ISO, EH &amp; S) and Hologic policies and identify opportunities for Continuous Improvement.</li>\n <li>Provide feedback on the manufacturing process and layout.</li>\n <li>Train, motivate and guide employees.</li>\n <li>Order necessary equipment and supplies within budget.</li>\n <li>Generate and present reports on quality and production.</li>\n <li>Interface with Materials, Engineering, EH&amp;S and Quality to facilitate smooth production flow and communication.</li>\n <li>Conduct performance reviews for direct reports and ensure coaching and feedback are timely and effective.</li>\n <li>Facilitate the engagement of EH&amp;S, Quality and Engineering into the production process.</li>\n <li>Interface with document control to maintain current documentation requirements, review DHRs and related regulatory documents.</li>\n <li>Prepare, present, and execute plans and procedures that improve processes and efficiency.</li>\n <li>Maintain a clean, safe working environment while working to reduce cycle time and scrap.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What we expect:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Results driven and continuous improvement mindset</li>\n <li>Familiarity with mechanical assembly, repairs or testing.</li>\n <li>Excellent and proven people skills, professional, self-motivated, high energy, team leader with effective training skills and desire to succeed in a business environment</li>\n <li>Excellent organizational and demonstrated problem-solving skills.</li>\n <li>Effectively manage and resolve employee conflicts</li>\n <li>Minimum of 2-4 years of experience working in a clean room environment preferred. (as per site)</li>\n <li>Strong written and oral communication skills</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of Continuous Improvement and LEAN Manufacturing Practices</li>\n <li>Strong record keeping and documentation skills, internal auditing, attention to detail</li>\n <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point)</li>\n <li>Oracle and Agile experience preferred.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of GMP’s, QSR’s, MRP</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education &amp; Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associates Degree or equivalent experience or training&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.</li>\n <li>Strong electrical/mechanical background with a minimum of 5 years manufacturing related experience</li>\n <li>Experience with ISO and FDA</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The annualized base salary range for this role is $77,000 to $128,000 and is bonus eligible.
