    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Operates ultrasound scanning equipment to produce records of designated portions of the human anatomy of adult and geriatric patients.  </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Operates ultrasound scanning equipment to produce records of designated portions of the human anatomy of adult and geriatric patients. </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>REQUIRED</u></strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Requirements for Ultrasound Technologists</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Initial Qualifications</strong></p>\n<p>·       Certified or eligible for certification by:</p>\n<p>                American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS),</p>\n<p>                      <strong>OR</strong></p>\n<p>American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, Sonography (ARRT) (S).</p>\n<p>                      <strong>OR</strong></p>\n<p>              Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)</p>\n<p>·       All sonographers <strong>must</strong> obtain certification within twenty-four months of eligibility or cross training.)</p>\n<p>·       Certified in Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or obtain within 90 days of employment</p>\n<p>                                   </p>\n<p><strong>Continuing Education </strong></p>\n<p>Sonographers must be in compliance with the ARDMS, ARDMS, ARRT or CCI requirements for continuing education appropriate to their practices</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>PREFERRED</u></strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<li> Graduate from an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology</li>\n<li> For specialty areas:</li>\n<ul>\n <li>Cardiology: Registered Cardiovascular Technologist with two (2) years cardiac related experience</li>\n <li>Vascular: Registered Vascular Technologist with two (2) years vascular related experience</li>\n <li>OB/GYN: Registered OB/GYN Technologist with at least two (2) years of OB/GYN related experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Work Hours:</h2>Monday - Thursday 8-5 Friday 8-3",
