          "text": "<p>As a Resort Experience Supervisor, you will be responsible for communicating and working with Westgate vendors such as Resort Recreation and Tourism Management (RR &amp; TM), Excursions, Scuba, Tennis, Caricature Artists, etc. In order to facilitate products and services for the Activities department.</p><p><strong>As a Resort Experience Supervisor, you will:&#xa0;</strong></p><ul><li>Coordinate activity and special event programs using themed concepts</li><li>Assist in set-up and breakdown for special events</li><li>Manages subordinate team members in the Activities/Kids Club department</li><li>Assist with training</li><li>Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training team members; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members; addressing complaints and resolving problems</li><li>Organize and update department files</li><li>Plan parties for owners, guests, and team members</li><li>Formulate an environment, which will increase team members’ morale and motivation, and promote team spirit</li><li>Take charge of the department in absence of the manager</li><li>Order, inventory, and distribute logo merchandise and sports equipment</li><li>Prepare daily and monthly records and procedures for logo merchandise, marketing materials and other purchases in accordance with CFI and Westgate Resorts accounting</li><li>Collect daily written reports about the Fitness Center and Game Room</li><li>Organize vendor reports and collect monthly payments</li><li>Write up subordinate team member performance evaluations; ability to enforce disciplinary procedures</li><li>Attend manager meetings and participate in team member orientation tours</li><li>Power and responsibility to cancel various activities when weather or other conditions pose a safety hazard to participants</li><li>Cooperate&#xa0;with recreation and non-recreation personnel</li><li>Act as team leader for Resort Experience Department regarding resort service standards</li><li>Contact person for entertainment regarding special events</li><li>Stock special event supplies on a weekly basis</li><li>Performs weekly inspections of recreational sites</li><li>Replacement of nets, repairing and repainting equipment as needed</li><li>Contact person for contractors regarding repairs and replacement of recreational courts, playground, dock, fitness center, etc</li><li>Ability to design, create and upkeep decorations</li></ul><p>To excel in this role, you must embody our core values of&#xa0;<strong>integrity, passion, and a strong work ethic</strong>.
