    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Position Summary:</strong><br>South Country Co-op is seeking a friendly and customer-focused Food Clerk to join our team at the Vauxhall Food Store in Vauxhall, AB. If you’re passionate about providing exceptional customer experiences, we’d love to hear from you!</p><p>Reporting to the Food Store Manager, the Food Clerk plays an important role in delivering excellent customer service and ensuring a clean, organized, and well-stocked store environment. This position involves ordering, receiving, stocking, and merchandising grocery products while following all safety and sanitation standards.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide friendly and helpful customer service in the grocery department</li><li>Stock shelves, rotate products, and ensure proper product placement</li><li>Receive and unload deliveries accurately and efficiently</li><li>Maintain clean and organized aisles, storage, and display areas</li><li>Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations</li><li>Assist with inventory counts and merchandising plans as required</li><li>Deliver excellent customer service by assisting customers, promoting merchandise, and ensure customer needs, preferences, and expectations are met</li><li>Educate customers on the benefits of membership in South Country Co-op&nbsp;</li><li>Follow all safety procedures and company policies</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Must be at least 15 years of age and completed Grade 9</li><li>Previous grocery or retail experience is an asset</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and perform physical tasks safely</li><li>Strong customer service and communication skills</li><li>High level of integrity and a strong work ethic</li><li>Able to work both independently and as part of a team</li><li>Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt</li><li>Detail-oriented and able to manage time effectively</li></ul><p><strong>Work Schedule:</strong></p><p>This position requires full availability, including weekdays and weekends.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Why Work with Us?</strong></p><p>At South Country Co-op, we value our team members and are committed to their well-being and success.
