Learn more at www.dminc.com</p>\n<h2>About the Opportunity</h2>\n<p>DMI is seeking an experienced <strong>Informatica Administrator</strong> to support a federal government customer's application portfolio. This position owns the full lifecycle of the Informatica environment, including server patching, version upgrades, and ETL mapping development and maintenance, within an AWS cloud infrastructure. The role works closely with a cross-functional application development team and interfaces directly with government technical staff</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Informatica Administrator manages all day-to-day operations of a production Informatica environment supporting a suite of data-driven government applications. Specific duties include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Planning and executing Informatica server patches and version upgrades, including pre-upgrade assessments, regression testing, and post-upgrade validation</li>\n <li>Maintaining, modifying, and creating ETL mappings that support Oracle-backed application workflows</li>\n <li>Conducting environment assessments and documenting current state, risks, and recommended remediation actions</li>\n <li>Coordinating with application developers on mapping changes driven by schema updates, application modifications, or new feature requests</li>\n <li>Troubleshooting data anomalies across integrated applications when Informatica mappings are a contributing factor</li>\n <li>Documenting all configuration changes, upgrade activities, and mapping modifications in source control per project standards</li>\n <li>Providing knowledge transfer and technical coaching to government technical staff</li>\n <li>Managing and tracking work through Jira, contributing to bi-weekly status reporting</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong> Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related technical field. Equivalent work experience (four additional years) may substitute for the degree requirement.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Experience:</strong> Minimum five years of hands-on Informatica administration, including server patching, version upgrades, and ETL mapping development and maintenance. At least two years of that experience must be in a federal government or regulated-enterprise environment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Proficiency with Oracle database environments, including schema structure, query optimization, and connection management</li>\n <li>Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, RDS, Aurora PostgreSQL)</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of SQL development and performance tuning, shell scripting, and SecDevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and source control (Git or SVN)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Informatica Certified Professional (INFA) or equivalent vendor certification</li>\n <li>Experience supporting ETL environments during Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migrations</li>\n <li>Familiarity with Java, Apache Tomcat, .NET, PostgreSQL, and Crystal Reports</li>\n <li>Prior federal agency experience</li>\n <li>Experience working in Jira-managed agile delivery environments</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Background Requirements: </strong>Must possess or be eligible to obtain and successfully complete a Public Trust background investigation and/or a Public Trust clearance.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Citizenship Status Required: </strong>Must be a <u>U.S. Citizen</u></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong> None required for this position.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Location: </strong>Remote, US</p>\n<h2>Working at DMI</h2>\n<p>DMI is a diverse, prosperous, and rewarding place to work.
