    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Summary</u></strong></p>\n<p>The Process Technician is responsible for Injection Molding startup, mold replacement setup, launching of new product series, shutdown procedures, and maintenance and modification of parameter settings for optimum production.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Essential Functions</u></strong> <em>(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)</em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Actively participate in all safety, quality, and production related meetings required, as well as promote safety throughout the department</li>\n <li>Actively follow and promote use of lock out tag out, and undergo annual recertification training as required</li>\n <li>Verify program, mold, End of Arm Tooling (EOAT), and resin are correct prior to starting production after a mold change has been performed</li>\n <li>Verify correct program is loaded, all connections are properly made, and all sequences are appropriate for tool being set</li>\n <li>Follow proper startup procedures to ensure tool does not flash on first shot or run excessive scrap due to defects</li>\n <li>Follow proper shutdown procedures and ensure press will be ready for production at next startup</li>\n <li>Assist mold setters and maintenance personnel in methods to improve accuracy and reduce scrap and downtime</li>\n <li>Follow 5 piece inspection procedures on all new startups with other Team Members involved</li>\n <li>Complete all production related documents in a timely manner</li>\n <li>Perform periodic quality inspections on all molding presses throughout the shift</li>\n <li>Inspect all parts based on Mobis quality criteria</li>\n <li>Immediately report any conditions that will cause safety, quality, or production related issues</li>\n <li>Observe all safety rules and policies at all times, including properly wearing correct personal protective equipment</li>\n <li>Maintain and improve housekeeping in assigned areas (purging, scrap parts, material spills, etc.)Assist in training of new Team Members</li>\n <li>Transfer information daily to the following shift concerning all quality issues, process changes, or any other quality or production concerns</li>\n <li>Prompt, regular, predictable attendance</li>\n <li>Physical presence at work during all scheduled work hours</li>\n <li>Overtime and weekend work as required</li>\n <li>All other job duties assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Basic Qualifications</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Required Education & Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent plus four years of experience working with injection molding machines utilizing hot runner systems and valve gate sequencing.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Working knowledge of robot teaching and programming</li>\n <li>Thorough understanding of injection molding processes</li>\n <li>Ability to perform preventive maintenance on end-of-arm tools</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Education & Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with large tonnage molding machines (2000 tons and larger)</li>\n <li>Experience with Engel Presses</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations Preferred:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Master Molder 1 and 2</li>\n <li>Fanuc Robot Certification</li>\n <li>RJG Certification</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work is 90% in production area; 10% in office</li>\n <li>Overtime as needed</li>\n <li>Traversing around production floor</li>\n</ul>",
