This position is located downtown Indianapolis, IN and onsite interviews are REQUIRED.</span></b></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><p>•             Monitoring and tuning database performance. </p><p>•             Ensures that data is appropriately protected via database backup and related strategies.  </p><p>•             Loads, or assists in loading of, database software, upgrade and patching.  </p><p>•             Assist with the evaluation and selection of infrastructure components and provide operational support for the database, ensuring data integrity, database availability, and performance.  </p><p>•             Provide resolutions to technical problems.   </p><p>•             Assist management with short/long-range planning for hardware and software changes and additions. </p><p>•             Serves as a project lead for software acquisition or upgrades.  </p><p>•             Administer oracle 10g, 11g, &amp; 12c stand-alone, RAC (including Exadata), and failsafe environments on windows 2003, 2008 r2, and windows 2012 as well as AIX, Redhat, &amp; oracle Linux (Exadata) platforms. </p><p>•             Ability to work effectively with oracle dbas, developers, and infrastructure teams to resolve problems with application/database systems.</p><p>•             Assist in normal database daily work requests for oracle.     </p><p><b></b></p><p><b><u>Requirements:</u></b></p><p>•             Oracle DBA experience- 10+ years</p><p>•             Oracle RAC (Advanced) – 4 years</p><p>•             Oracle 10g, 11g (Advanced) – 4 years</p><p>•             AIX (Advanced) – 3 years</p><p>•             Windows (Advanced) – 2 years</p><p>•             Linux (Advanced) – 2 years</p><p>•             HP Server Hardware (Intermediate) – 3 years</p><p>•             Dell Server Hardware (Intermediate) – 3 years</p><p>•             Oracle 12 C (Advanced) – 2 years</p><p>•             Oracle Golden Gate (Advanced) – 3 years</p><p>•             Oracle Failsafe (Advanced) – 3 years</p><p>•             Oracle Database EE (Advanced) – 3 years</p><p>•             Oracle Data Guard (Advanced) – 3 years</p><p>•             Toad (Intermediate) – 2 years</p><p>•             Delphix (Beginner) – 1 year</p><p>•             Exadata (Beginner) – 1 year</p><p>•             Oracle database software installation and software patching experience is needed.  </p><p>•             Must have in-depth knowledge of monitoring (Oracle Cloud Control), tuning and database design standards. </p><p>•             Project management skills, ANSI SQL &amp;PL\\SQL Programming and a working knowledge of ETL operations a bonus.   </p>",
