In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and efficiency of your crew during shifts while driving continuous improvement in production processes, quality, and safety. You will lead and support a team of Production employees, providing training, development, and performance feedback to foster a high-performing and engaged workforce.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>If you are a proactive leader with a passion for safety, quality, and operational excellence, we encourage you to apply and join our team as a Production Supervisor!</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure the safety of all crew members during shifts and consistently enforce company policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Direct and oversee the efforts of Production and QA employees, providing both positive and constructive performance feedback.</li>\n <li>Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for crew members to enhance their skills and knowledge.</li>\n <li>Verify readiness of raw materials, labeling, equipment, tools, production orders, warehouse availability, and labor for current and upcoming runs.</li>\n <li>Monitor environmental procedures and reporting, ensuring compliance within designated response times.</li>\n <li>Manage issues related to the Facility Emergency Contingency Plan and ensure proper response.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with crew and other departments to improve processes, products, and safety while reducing costs through innovation and data analysis.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot high-level issues with Key Operators, Maintenance personnel, or Management as needed.</li>\n <li>Communicate daily with the crew regarding safety, performance metrics (KPIs), corrective actions, and future plans through High Performance Team (HPT) boards and meetings.</li>\n <li>Review production schedules, assign tasks appropriately, and address schedule adjustments while ensuring proper staffing and equipment performance.</li>\n <li>Prepare and maintain all necessary paperwork and records for the shift, ensuring smooth communication with off-going and on-coming shifts.</li>\n <li>Drive the highest levels of employee retention and engagement to ensure a sustainable workforce.</li>\n <li>Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the organization.</li>\n <li>Instill an environment of inclusion, where all employees feel that they can contribute and impact the company in a positive manner.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education</strong>:  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate’s Degree required. </li>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of production experience in an industrial manufacturing facility.</li>\n <li>Minimum three (3) years of supervisory/leadership experience in a similar environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.</li>\n <li>Experience in production supervision, quality assurance, or a related field.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of safety protocols, production processes, and troubleshooting techniques.</li>\n <li>Ability to work collaboratively across departments to drive continuous improvement.</li>\n <li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for scheduling, record-keeping, and reporting.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of production principles involved in project planning, resource allocation and leadership techniques.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of SAP preferred.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of process improvement methodologies/practices.</li>\n <li>Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.</li>\n <li>Ability to adhere to all safety standards while remaining focused on quality and service.</li>\n <li>Computer skills in a MS Windows Environment; proficient in Word and Excel.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>It is the policy of Knauf Insulation to provide equal employment opportunities to all qualified persons without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, protected veteran status or any other protected characteristic prohibited by applicable law.</p>",
