For more information, visit www.typeoneenergy.com or follow us on LinkedIn.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Your role in the mission:</strong></p>\n<p>As a Contracts Manager for Type One Energy you will play a crucial role in managing the contractual aspects of mission to provide sustainable, affordable fusion power to the world.</p>\n<p>You will support the Senior Contracts Manager in the development, negotiation and implementation of a wide range of contracts and agreements, as well as collaborating with Senior Leadership, Engineers, and legal teams to develop and manage the execution of comprehensive contract documents. You will:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage and track a pipeline of non-disclosure agreements, commercial agreements, purchase orders, collaborative agreements, and supporting documentation.</li>\n <li>Management of existing and emerging agreements with collaborators, suppliers, universities and other entities</li>\n <li>Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to our project deliverables, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.</li>\n <li>Support commercial agreements review negotiation.</li>\n <li>Identify and assess potential terms and conditions and contractual risks, providing recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.</li>\n <li>Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and mutually beneficial environment.</li>\n <li>Oversee the development and implementation of a contract review process to ensure approvals consistent with business processes (i.e. delegation of authority).</li>\n <li>Along with Sr. Contract Manager, act as primary interface with legal advisors to ensure contracts are legally sound.</li>\n <li>Act as a point of contact for dispute resolution, working closely with legal counsel and relevant teams to address any contractual disputes in a timely and efficient manner.</li>\n <li>Implement processes to track and report on compliance metrics, taking corrective actions when necessary.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>What you’ll need:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or a related field.</li>\n <li>Proven experience in contract management within engineering or a project delivery environment.</li>\n <li>In-depth knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements within the science or engineering fields.</li>\n <li>Experience of mitigating contractual risk.</li>\n <li>Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.</li>\n <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with project management principles and practices.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Desirable:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>SME / experience with US DOE contracting practices and procedures.</li>\n <li>Knowledgeable of global energy markets.</li>\n <li>Experience of working in start-up environments.</li>\n <li>International experience.</li>\n</ul>",
