  "key_responsibilities": "<div><!--block--><strong>In partnership, and collaboration with plant operations and human resources:</strong></div><ul><li><!--block-->Performs complex periodic preventive maintenance on automated and other production systems and equipment using knowledge of solid state circuitry, electronics, electrical-mechanical devices, motors, wiring diagrams, and schematics, computers, etc.&nbsp;</li><li><!--block-->Troubleshoots, repairs, aligns, calibrates, inspects, and tests various production lines and equipment.&nbsp;</li><li><!--block-->Programs logic controls for proper equipment operation.</li><li><!--block-->Ensures quality and consistency in production processes by assessing, modifying, and/or calibrating equipment.</li><li><!--block-->Ensures efficiency and productivity by evaluating and modifying production processes and/or equipment.</li><li><!--block-->Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves issues with equipment, devices, or products; uses precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to make adjustments.</li><li><!--block-->Assists Supervisor with tasks related to development, construction, and evaluation of prototypes, new products, operations, and/or procedures.</li><li><!--block-->Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.</li><li><!--block-->Reads and interprets schematics and equipment manuals to perform required maintenance and service.</li><li><!--block-->Maintains records to ensure accountability of time, parts, and repairs to meet regulatory compliance and budget constraints.</li><li><!--block-->Installs and performs diagnostic tests on mechanical systems.</li><li><!--block-->Develops and implements mechanical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns.</li><li><!--block-->Communicates with management and other maintenance personnel on a timely basis to facilitate maintenance and repairs.</li><li><!--block-->Makes repairs to tools and equipment as needed. &nbsp;</li><li><!--block-->Uses hand and power tools and ensures tools and equipment are maintained and repaired.&nbsp;</li><li><!--block-->Cleans and assists with the upkeep of the facilities.</li><li><!--block-->Complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) procedures including timely and accurate documentation of required SQF forms and safety policies.&nbsp;</li></ul><div><!--block-->Other duties as assigned by management.<br><br></div><div><!--block-->The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
