We are looking for candidates located in one of the following areas: Pecos, Texas, Midland/Odessa, TX, Carlsbad, NM, Hobbs, NM and/or Big Spring TX. The ideal Field Service Technician candidate is self-driven, reliable, and possesses the technical experience necessary to service, maintain, and provide our customers with equipment that will be utilized to monitor existing systems on oil and gas rigs.",

    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Cover RSM (Remote Service Monitor) product which includes service rigs and workover rigs.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Remote monitoring of RSM rigs as well as on customer locations.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Travel to customer sites to install, commission, test, calibrate, and train customers on the safe and proper operation of NOV products</li>\n <li>Conduct field installations and calibrations of sensors and systems</li>\n <li>Perform field upgrades of software and hardware and train customers on how to properly operate the system</li>\n <li>Communicate field failures and feedback reports to the appropriate departments</li>\n <li>Billing, inventory and paperwork</li>\n <li>Complete and submit field service documentation in a timely manner</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must reside in the West Texas coverage area. This includes Odessa TX, Midland TX, Big Spring TX, Pecos TX, Monahans TX, Andrews TX, Hobbs NM, or Carlsbad NM areas.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>AA Degree and/or equivalent experience with 2+ years of technical experience preferred</li>\n <li>Willing to travel over 75% of the time</li>\n <li>Work schedule is 10 days on, 4 days off for local technicians</li>\n <li>Work schedule is 14 days on, 14 days off for rotational</li>\n <li>Willing to work 12+ hours daily during your schedule</li>\n <li>Good interpersonal skills</li>\n <li>Good verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Knowledge of oil and gas field components, including software and hardware</li>\n <li>Willing to be on call</li>\n <li>Electrical background preferred</li>\n <li>All applicants must pass a background check, driving record check, and drug screening.</li>\n</ul>",
