Description Ultrasound Technologist – PRN Department: Diagnostic Imaging Status: PRN (As Needed) FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Reports To: Manager – Diagnostic Imaging Location: Pagosa Springs Medical Center – Pagosa Springs, Colorado Position Summary Pagosa Springs Medical Center (PSMC) is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team on a PRN basis . The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic sonographic examinations as ordered by healthcare providers to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role involves selecting appropriate transducers, performing high-quality imaging procedures, assisting physicians with procedures such as biopsies and aspirations, and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the examination process. The ideal candidate is an experienced sonographer who can work independently, demonstrate strong technical and patient care skills, and collaborate effectively with radiologists and healthcare teams. PRN Differential: PRN employees in this position receive a PRN differential of an additional $5.00 per hour. Benefits: PRN benefits include sick leave and retirement plan with employer contribution.
