Description
Description
The resilience resources access manager plays a central role in strengthening Maine’s statewide climate adaptation capacity. This position enhances communication, coordination, and knowledge-sharing across resilience practitioners including the Maine Climate Change Adaptation Providers (CCAP) Network—a peer-learning community of nearly 100 agencies, universities, nonprofits, and resilience professionals. The resilience resources access manager (“Resource Manager”) directs professionals and community leaders to climate resilience tools, funding opportunities, guidance documents, and technical experts that exist but are often underutilized. By maintaining a curated directory of expertise, supporting communication platforms, and engaging directly with underserved communities, the resource manager improves access to climate resources and accelerates the implementation of Maine’s Climate Action Plan, Maine Won’t Wait. The position is primarily remote (approximately 75%), with routine travel to communities, meetings, and events across Maine. Typical hiring range for this part-time (20 hours/week), soft-money funded position is $25,800 - $32,250 commensurate with qualifications and experience.
