Comfort with routine sample prep and running established SOP-based assays with care and consistency. Strong fundamentals with basic lab equipment and practices (balances, pH meters, glassware, etc.). A warm, organized, self-directed working style; you’re someone who can manage requests, keep track of details, and communicate clearly without needing daily oversight. Familiarity with common instrument ecosystems: Agilent (common for LC/GC/MS) Thermo/Dionex (ion chromatography) Experience with MS and related software, for example: ChemStation , Chromeleon , MassHunter Confidence troubleshooting routine instrument or data issues (you do not need to know every instrument, but you’re comfortable learning and applying good judgment).
