The position provides superior service to our customers and safely packs and prepares for move and transports their valuables to the correct destinations.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Assist with packing, wrapping and loading household goods or other commodities.&#160; Ensure customer belongs are secured and ready for transportation to their new destination.</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist with unloading customer belongs and place in new destination.</li>\r\n\t<li>Lifts and moves heavy packages and other equipment.</li>\r\n\t<li>Driving to and from delivery destinations.</li>\r\n\t<li>Keeping driving records (i.e. mileage and gas receipts).</li>\r\n\t<li>Must observe and obey speed limits and all road signs.</li>\r\n\t<li>Responsible for performing simple vehicle maintenance (i.e. taking vehicle for inspections, filling tires with air, etc.)</li>\r\n\t<li>Informs supervisor of any vehicle problems.</li>\r\n\t<li>Pleasantly interacts with customers to obtain payment, signatures, and giving receipts.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain assigned vehicle(s) clean inside and outside.</li>\r\n\t<li>Fuel the assigned vehicle(s).</li>\r\n\t<li>Must inventory household goods and other commodities identified for transport.</li>\r\n\t<li>Comply with all DOT HOS and guidelines for distances over 100 miles guidelines.</li>\r\n\t<li>Comply with Interstate DOT HOS and guidelines when delivering shipments marked as interstate.</li>\r\n\t<li>Participates in and completes all training as required.</li>\r\n\t<li>Practices and reinforces superior customer service skills by providing courteous and efficient service to all customers.</li>\r\n\t<li>Performs vehicle and trailer inspections as required.</li>\r\n\t<li>Completes all necessary logs, electronically and manually, as needed, and submits to appropriate management by required timeframes.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Safety Program.</li>\r\n\t<li>Perform any other task or assignment as deemed necessary by the organization.</li>\r\n</ul>",
