Don't worry, you can still find yourself in the game!.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>  </h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>The Role</strong><strong> </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Player Services Areas team strives to provide excellent customer service to all US Open players and their teams during the tournament, and works behind-the-scenes to ensure a seamless operation. This is a single application and process for all of the areas listed below, and if selected, candidates will be placed into one specific area for the duration of the tournament. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Practice Court Reservation Staff </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist with managing daily practice court reservations and track court usage.</li>\n <li>Support the smooth operation of the practice courts by ensuring players' needs are met and the courts are kept clean and ready for use. </li>\n <li>Apply critical problem solving skills in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>East Practice Court Attendant </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist with ensuring practice courts are tidy, and ready for use.</li>\n <li>Restock the practice courts with towels and water.</li>\n <li>Assist with drying the courts when necessary.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Locker Room Attendant</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain the overall cleanliness, and presentation of the player locker rooms.</li>\n <li>Ensure that the locker room is stocked and organized, providing players with a welcoming and comfortable environment. </li>\n <li>Assist players and their teams within the locker room, practicing strong customer service skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Fitness Center Attendant</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure the safety and security of the fitness center equipment. </li>\n <li>Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the fitness center, ensuring it is a safe and welcoming environment for the players. </li>\n <li>Exercise strong customer service skills in interacting with players as they enter the gyms</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Player Escort/Golf Cart Escort </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Escort players to and from match courts, practice areas, and other designated locations on the tournament grounds.</li>\n <li>Maintain a calm and professional demeanor while providing a smooth and efficient experience for players navigating the grounds. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Player Concierge</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide customer service at each Concierge Desk location, assisting players with general enquiries related to the US Open and its operations, while maintaining tidiness of the Player Lounge.</li>\n <li>Greet and welcome players at the Player Entry point, serving as a first touchpoint for any general enquiries, while maintaining tidiness of the Player Garden.</li>\n <li>Carry out the servicing of the stadium court Player Boxes on a daily basis, working closely with the Player Concierge Supervisor to monitor match cadences and turnovers.</li>\n <li>Assist with Garden Parties, Gifting Suite, and Ticketing operations as and when required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Legends Suite Visit Hosts</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Serve as the primary point of contact for players participating in our player appearance program.  Taking direction from the Supervisor to manage player appearances with precision and ensuring a seamless and positive experience for both the player and client.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Act as the host by introducing the player to groups of high touch suite clients, fostering an atmosphere of exclusivity while maintaining a poised, professional demeanor at all times, and showcasing strong knowledge of the sport and its history.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Proactively \"read the room\" to monitor guest interactions, redirecting focus or intervening when necessary to ensure a positive experience for all stakeholders.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Wheelchair Tournament Operations Assistant (September 2nd - September 13th)</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinate the timely delivery and retrieval of wheelchairs to match courts based on the schedule, while logging all equipment movement to and from the storage tent.</li>\n <li>Organize and maintain the storage area to ensure equipment is handled carefully, stored securely, and kept in peak condition for safe, efficient access.</li>\n <li>Assist the Tent Manager with daily operations and end-of-day securing procedures, providing broader support to the Wheelchair Operations team as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>  </h2>\n<p><strong>Who You Are</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Team-Oriented</strong>: Able to work well independently and collaboratively as part of a team.</li>\n <li><strong>Detail Oriented</strong>: Focused on the little things that make a big difference.</li>\n <li><strong>Interpersonal skills</strong>: Strong communication and people skills, and can interact with players, staff, and other tournament participants professionally and respectfully.</li>\n <li><strong>High Energy & Strong Work Ethic</strong>: Ready to take on long hours and the demands of a tournament environment. </li>\n <li><strong>Dynamic & Positive</strong>: Approaches challenges with a “can-do” attitude and remains calm and positive, even in high-pressure situations. </li>\n <li><strong>Tournament Commitment</strong>: Must be available to work every day of the tournament from August 18 to September 13, including weekends.
