Our team of specialist pathologists, scientists, technicians, phlebotomists, couriers, and shared services personnel deliver a world-class service that together collects, analyses, and reports over 7 million patient results annually.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br>About the role | Mō te tūranga:<br></span>We’re looking for an experienced and motivated professional to join our team as the <span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Operations Manager</em></span>. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Wellington Hospital Laboratory to deliver a high-quality, professional pathology service.<br><br></p>\n<p>In this role, you’ll lead and support laboratory teams to ensure work is carried out accurately, efficiently, and in line with quality and compliance standards. You’ll play an important part in mentoring and coaching both direct reports and developing laboratory managers across the region, helping to foster a collaborative and high-performing environment.<br><br></p>\n<p>Working closely with the General Manager of the Central Region as their second in charge, you’ll contribute to achieving operational objectives, managing budgets, monitoring service delivery KPI's, and implementing improvements where needed.
