The Therapist collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and community partners to prioritize client care and achieve treatment objectives. The Therapist ensures compliance with ethical standards, participates in professional development, and maintains timely documentation. The Therapist also provides clinical supervision to licensed therapists as qualified and assigned.</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Essential Functions</strong></u></p><ul><li>Conducts assessments to diagnose mental health and substance abuse disorders</li><li>Directs clients’ care by developing, implementing, and managing personalized care plans with specific treatment goals and objectives for each client</li><li>Provides therapy sessions for individuals, groups, families, and provide crisis support using approved evidence-based tools to effectively enhance treatment</li><li>Follows agency documentation policies for all phases of treatment, including assessments, care plans, treatment transitions and discharge plans, and client care</li><li>Collaborates with internal and external multidisciplinary teams regarding clinical aspects of treatment</li><li>Adheres to ethical and legal standards set by licensing boards and state regulations</li><li>Meets direct care expectations</li><li>Provides individual clinical supervision to assigned under-licensed therapists upon completion of two years of practice with full licensure</li><li>Participates in ongoing professional development activities to meet licensure, certification, and/or other agency requirements</li></ul>",
