The successful candidate will design minor and major bridges and a variety of transportation related structures (retaining walls, sign structures and other miscellaneous structures). Our commitment to excellence stems from our personal integrity and from other defining attributes, which we call “Dewberry at Work,” that have inspired our employees to be successful for more than a half-century.</em></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform structural analysis and develop structures designs, construction plans, cost estimates, reports and technical specifications </li>\n <li>Collaborate with other Transportation Discipline Leads and Project Managers </li>\n <li>Assign tasks and provide technical assistance to Structures Project Engineers, Technicians, and Administrative Staff </li>\n <li>Coordinate with contractors on Design-Build projects, perform bridge inspections, and develop solutions to issues that arise during the construction of various types of structures </li>\n <li>Assist with the preparation of project schedules and budgets </li>\n <li>Prepare marketing materials and serve as Structures Lead during project pursuit presentations </li>\n <li>Perform QC reviews of design documentation and plans prepared by internal Staff and other consultants </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required Skills & Required Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline </li>\n <li>15+ years of experience working on bridge transportation projects </li>\n <li>FL PE license or ability to obtain within 1 year </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Sound oral and written communication skills </li>\n <li>Excellent organizational skills </li>\n <li>Strong desire to be a key contributor in an outstanding team of industry-leading professionals </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Join Dewberry and be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to making a positive impact on the communities we serve.
