          "text": "<p>The CI Maintenance Technician will repair, maintain, improve, and install new associated plant equipment for the process and water treatment plants in line with achieving our performance objectives.</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></p><ul><li>Troubleshoot and repair conveyor systems</li><li>Troubleshoot and repair jaw and gyratory crushers</li><li>Troubleshoot and repair centrifugal slurry and ANSI water pumps</li><li>Troubleshoot and repair positive displacement rotary pumps</li><li>Proficient in structure welding and fabrication. Mig, Tig, Arc, plasma and oxy/acetylene cutting.</li><li>Proficient in carbon and stainless-steel pipe welding</li><li>Knowledge in concrete form and finishing.</li><li>Proficient in pipe layout and preparation</li><li>Perform lazar alignments on direct drive and belt driving drive components.</li><li>Proficient in the operation of skid steer</li><li>Proficient in the operation of mini excavator</li><li>Proficient in the operation of manlift</li><li>Proficient in the operation of telehandler</li><li>Proficient in repair and new install of basic plumbing (NPT pipe, PVC, PEX)</li><li>Able to erect basic scaffolding (training will be provided)</li><li>Assist E&amp;I technicians with basic electrical troubleshooting, repair, and installation</li><li>Install new systems, circuits, and hardware that have been deemed to improve processes and process equipment.</li><li>Other duties as required.</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ol><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear and see.</li><li>Occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 50&#xa0;pounds) during the course of the workday.</li><li>Work is in a surface mine plant setting, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity.</li><li>Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required.</li><li>Haile Gold Mine, Inc. promotes a drug/alcohol free work environment through the use of mandatory pre-employment drug testing and on-going random drug testing.</li></ol><p><strong>Safety:</strong></p><ul><li>Ensures that all tasks comply with Company health and safety requirements and policies and procedures and strengthens the culture of safety in the workplace.</li><li>Demonstrate safety awareness.</li><li>Participate in safety meetings and site safety programmes.</li></ul>",
