    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p><strong>Machine Operator - 2nd Shift</strong></p><p><strong>Position Summary</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>Operates machines to produce parts to specification in an efficient and timely manner.    The role requires the above to be accomplished within Tecomet&rsquo;s principles of continuous improvement, customer driven innovation and a win first culture, while meeting company financial and other performance metrics.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Principle Responsibilities</strong>&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: 1; margin-left: 20px;\">&bull; Machine parts to specifications using documentation presented on routing/drawings and program hardcopy.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: 1; margin-left: 20px;\">&bull; Employ use of inspection methods to ensure the quality of production. &nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: 1; margin-left: 20px;\">&bull; Ability to perform entry-level problem-solving skills. &nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: 1; margin-left: 20px;\">&bull; Ability to run one or more machine types. &nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: 1; margin-left: 20px;\">&bull; Maintains housekeeping and safety standards in work area. &nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualification Requirements Credentials/Experience</strong>&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left: 20px;\">&bull; High School Diploma or equivalent&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Experience/Educational/Training Preferred</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left: 20px;\">&bull; 0 &ndash; 2 years&rsquo; experience preferred working in a manufacturing environment.  &nbsp;</p><p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</strong>&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: 1; margin-left: 20px;\">&bull; Ability to load and run machine. &nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: 1; margin-left: 20px;\">&bull; Strong team player and flexible to move from one task to another. &nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: 1; margin-left: 20px;\">&bull; Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. &nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: 1; margin-left: 20px;\">&bull; Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision. &nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: 1; margin-left: 20px;\">&bull; Read, write clearly, and follow written procedures. &nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: 1; margin-left: 20px;\">&bull; Ability to read and understand basic blueprints. &nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: 1; margin-left: 20px;\">&bull; Knowledge and ability to utilize standard measuring equipment. &nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: 1; margin-left: 20px;\">&bull; Basic computer skills.   &nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: 1; margin-left: 20px;\">&bull; Ability to work independently and exercise judgment&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Other Requirements</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>Work Environment:</p><p>The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
