Our needs:
We have an immediate opening in our Houston office for a Mid to Senior-level professional with experience in landscape architecture and site construction
Requirements:
8+ years of professional experience in a design office (landscape architecture, architecture, or urban design) experience preparing construction drawings and document sets with a strong focus on technical detailing working knowledge of landscape architectural construction and site development elements experience reviewing and redlining drawing sets familiarity with materials research and writing technical specifications experience supporting projects through construction, including site observation or construction administration proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office ability and willingness to travel, including driving licensure or intent to pursue licensure Qualifications:
strong attention to detail with an ability to elevate the quality of construction documentation organized and thoughtful in managing time, tasks, and project information clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal approaches problem-solving with curiosity and sound judgment works collaboratively with designers at all levels and contributes to a positive team environment takes initiative while remaining open to direction and feedback comfortable participating in and leading meetings as needed demonstrates accountability, reliability, and follow-through positive attitude and strong sense of ownership in work Additional Experience (Preferred)
proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) experience with Bluebeam Revu hand sketching and visual communication skills 3D modeling experience (SketchUp or Rhino) familiarity with Revit or other BIM software
