This role will partner closely with business leaders to structure, assess, and manage legal risk in support of strategic initiatives and vendor relationships. This position requires a pragmatic, business-oriented attorney who thrives in a fast-paced, growth environment and can balance legal rigor with practical decision-making. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We hire people, not positions. We're seeking someone who wants to impact the business and play a pivotal role in leading the charge for change. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>As our Vice President, Transaction & Contract Attorney, you will:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of B2B agreements across the organization, including vendor contracts, partner agreements, amendments, servicing, and other commercial arrangements.</li>\n <li>Establish and maintain standard contract templates, playbooks, and negotiation guidelines.</li>\n <li>Provide legal support for strategic transactions, partnerships, and new business initiatives. </li>\n <li>Structure transactions while appropriately balancing risk, compliance, and business objectives. </li>\n <li>Identify legal and, in consultation with others, regulatory risks in contractual arrangements and develop mitigation strategies. </li>\n <li>Advise internal stakeholders on risk tolerance and alternative approaches. </li>\n <li>Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, IT, Compliance, Procurement, and executive leadership. </li>\n <li>Translate complex legal concepts into clear, actionable guidance for non-legal stakeholders. </li>\n <li>Design and implement scalable contracting processes, including workflow tools and approval frameworks. </li>\n <li>Drive efficiencies in contract lifecycle management. </li>\n <li>Collaborate with outside counsel as needed for specialized matters. </li>\n <li>Ensure cost-effective delivery of legal services. </li>\n <li>Ensure agreements comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>These duties must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We know experience comes in many forms and that many skills are transferable. Diversity has made us the entrepreneurial and innovative company that we are today.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>At least 5-10 years of experience practicing in a law firm or in-house, with a strong focus on commercial contracts and transactions.
