In this influential role, you will drive technical quality across major transportation projects, mentor emerging engineers, and contribute to the evolution of safe, efficient, and future‑ready highway and rail systems.</p>\n<h2>What You'll Do:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Organize, direct, and coordinate activities related to highway, roadway, and rail infrastructure projects—from initial assessment through planning and design</li>\n <li>Collaborate with Highway & Rail team leadership to manage and motivate a high-performing group of technical professionals, ensuring excellence in project delivery and achieving team utilization goals</li>\n <li>Effectively manage project budgets, scope, and schedules to deliver successful outcomes for critical transportation initiatives</li>\n <li>Engage with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded throughout each phase</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You Bring:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred</li>\n <li>Minimum of 10 years of progressive engineering experience required; previous project or team management experience preferred</li>\n <li>Professional Engineer (PE) license required</li>\n <li>Expert knowledge of the respective engineering discipline with a proven ability to apply best practices and demonstrated technical proficiency</li>\n <li>Advanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) as well as Microsoft Office</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws</li>\n <li>Strategic thinker with a proven ability to guide and motivate team activity and resolve issues with urgency</li>\n <li>An articulate and persuasive communicator, both one-on-one and in front of large groups</li>\n <li>Experience with project budgeting preferred; basic understanding of accounting processes</li>\n <li>Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Why You'll Love It Here:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead technically challenging highway and rail projects that elevate the safety, efficiency, and resilience of transportation systems</li>\n <li>Make a meaningful impact as a mentor and technical advisor developing the next generation of engineering talent</li>\n <li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a flexible, supportive work environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Curious about the impactful work our Highway & Rail team is doing?
