Our Express Lube Technicians get to work with an amazing team and by working for Longo Toyota; they are surrounded by only the best.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Express Lube Technician Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Rate of $19.00. The position may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>*This position is 100% on site at Longo Toyota in El Monte, CA.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Perks of working with us:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Weekly Pay - get paid every Friday.</li>\n <li>401k with a generous Company match </li>\n <li>Vacation (accruals earned on Full Time or Part Time status)</li>\n <li>Vision, dental, and medical care benefits available to any team <strong>full time</strong> team member</li>\n <li>Team member Referral Bonus Program</li>\n <li>Tuition reimbursement </li>\n <li>Discounts with Corporate Partners like GE, Dell, Oakley, Yeti, Ray Ban, and many more….</li>\n <li>Development and growth opportunities</li>\n <li>Free Employee Parking</li>\n <li>On-site gym, free of charge to team members </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs oil changes on guest vehicles</li>\n <li>Inspects oil, cabin, air filters and vehicle fluid level and replaces or replenishes as necessary</li>\n <li>Check’s tire pressures and adds air, as needed</li>\n <li>Rotates tires and inspects brake linings/drums and brake pads/discs</li>\n <li>Performs a thorough check of guest’s vehicles, refers needed repairs and preventive maintenance to ASM</li>\n <li>Documents all work performed on repair order and inspection sheet</li>\n <li>Operates and maintains in good condition all lubrication equipment</li>\n <li>Assists the service department, as needed</li>\n <li>Operated all tools and equipment in a safe manner </li>\n <li>Achieves the production objectives set by management</li>\n <li>Maintains assigned workspace in an organized and clean manner</li>\n <li>Maintains high ethical standards in all actions </li>\n <li>Maintains a high level of grooming, hygiene, and uniform appearance</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>A high school diploma or equivalent: some college or vocational school preferred. </li>\n <li>A minimum of one (1) year automotive repair experience, desired; or a combination of education and experience.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance required; and mathematical principles (adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying, and percentages) and application. </li>\n <li>Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles; determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it; pay attention to detail; read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language. </li>\n <li>Must have a valid driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical demands </strong>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
