This position is also responsible for reporting &amp; clerical duties of the plant.&nbsp;<br></p><p><br><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Act as a plant operator, responsible for total plant operations.</li><li>Responsible for monthly reporting and ordering of chemicals.</li><li>Work independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function.</li><li>Monitor control panels and adjusts the plant operations as needed.</li><li>Observes variations in operating conditions and interprets instruments, meter and gauge readings and test results to determine process control needs.</li><li>Responsible for operating equipment associated with receiving, headworks, chemical addition, filtering, setting, and sludge processing, etc.</li><li>Maintain plant log of all operations, events, and important parameters.</li><li>Conduct routine laboratory tests: TSS, COD, pH, etc.</li><li>Ensure that pumps, valves, boiler instruments, and other plant and wastewater treatment equipment are functioning properly.</li><li>Monitor equipment for potential failures and may make minor repairs or adjustments as needed.</li><li>Perform other related duties as required.</li></ul>",
