Is responsible for maintaining distribution/collection systems with a strong focus on lift stations; identifying equipment problems; and perform maintenance of system facilities.</p>\n<p>This position will travel between service areas near <strong>Longwood, FL</strong>. Requires the ability to respond 24 hours a day to various situations.</p>\n<p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintains accurate and up-to-date records.</li>\n <li>Documents customer interaction and Field Activities using Company software.</li>\n <li>Acts as liaison between the customers and customer service personnel for problem/complaint resolution.</li>\n <li>Provides on-site customer communication.</li>\n <li>Assists with maintaining mechanical, electrical and piping systems for area lift station facilities, collection and distribution systems.</li>\n <li>Constant, independent travel daily between worksites on Company time.</li>\n <li>Must work On-Call in rotation as scheduled; responds to emergency situations as required.</li>\n <li>May assist with repairs of water/wastewater treatment plant equipment, lift stations and infrastructure.</li>\n <li>Indicates irregularities on forms for necessary action by department personnel and vendors.</li>\n <li>Assists with ordering parts and job costing.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Prepares a variety of operational reports related to collection and distribution systems, and lift stations.</li>\n <li>May assist in maintaining plant compliance with Federal, state and local regulatory requirements.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Performs other related duties as assigned.</p>\n<p><strong>What You'll Bring</strong></p>\n<p>Experience</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Distribution and/or Collections certification as required by statute or regulation.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>May be required to obtain first-level operating license within one year of employment.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>A minimum of one year previous mechanical or maintenance experience.
