    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Element has an opportunity for a <strong>Metallurgy Technician</strong> whose primary responsibility is to perform routine, metallurgical, mechanical, failure, corrosion testing facilitating metallurgy operations at site or at a laboratory.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Salary: $26- $28/hr DOE </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Review specifications and customer paperwork to ensure testing is set up correctly</li>\n <li>Perform standard and non-standard metallurgical evaluations (castings, grain size, recast, microstructure analysis, microhardness, corrosion testing, etc.)</li>\n <li>Communicate with clients on matters of concern/interest</li>\n <li>Prepare and review customer reports</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills / Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's (B.S.) degree in Metallurgy or a related field</li>\n <li>2-4 years of experience working in a laboratory in the field of metallurgy testing</li>\n <li>Good knowledge of interpreting specifications</li>\n <li>Good report writing skill</li>\n <li>Good communication skills</li>\n <li>Self-motivated, team-player with excellent organizational and communication skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>\n<p>Element is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
