    "description": "<h2><p>Overview</p></h2>\n<p></p>\n<p>US Anesthesia Partners - Central Texas is seeking an RN Block Nurse to join our team!</p>\n<h2><p>Job Highlights</p></h2>\n<p>The ideal candidate for this position will be compassionate, caring and experienced in developing/implementing the plan of care for each patient, making recommendations for patient interventions, and collaborating ith other healthcare providers to deliver care and document outcomes.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Patient Education:  Pre and post-op education for patient and family regarding the peripheral nerve block.</li>\n <li>Nerve block assistance:  Under direct supervision, administer sedation if needed and assist with placement of nerve block/catheter by pushing local anesthetic and holding ultrasound probe in place.</li>\n <li>Pain Management:  Via patient rounds and/or follow-up calls, assess effectiveness of nerve block to determine patient's comfort and coordinate with an anesthesiologist any changes to medication regimen/catheter settings that may be needed.</li>\n <li>Chart Reviews:  Transfer patient information from hospital EMR records to USAP EMR.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>USAP Central Texas Austin is focused on delivering the highest quality patient care with an incredible team of over 200 CRNAs and 110 Anesthesiologists.
