      "value": "<strong>Summary of the position</strong><br><br>The Freelance Lecturer at Berlin School of Business and Innovation (all campuses, all faculties) will be the principle academic contact  and leader for the assigned Course/Unit/Module/ Dissertation/ Project/ Internship. Please note that there is no differentiation in the standards or requirements of the tasks for Freelance or Fulltime faculty. The Freelance arrangement is just a mode of engagement to offer you greater flexibility.  <br><br><strong><u>Responsibilities:</u></strong><br><br><strong> </strong><strong>As a Freelance Lecturer, you will be requested to contribute to one or more of the following:</strong><br><br><strong>A. Teaching</strong><br><strong>B. Research Supervision</strong><br><strong>C. Combination of Teaching and Research</strong><br><br><strong>Depending on the tasks assigned and as per the accepted terms and conditions, as specified in your contract, you will be required to perform the following tasks: </strong><br><ul><li>Teaching the assigned academic modules according to the curriculum and as per the agreed timetable.</li><li>Amending or designing and developing a new curriculum for a Course/Unit/Module, if required.</li><li>Creating learning material including power point presentations and other supporting material, as per the requirements. </li><li>Providing consultation and mentoring to students.</li><li>Ensuring the guidance required to students for development of relevant skills as per the objectives and learning outcomes of the Course/Unit/Module.</li><li>Preparing students for summative assessment through guidance and formative assessment, as applicable.</li><li>Communicate effectively with students and providing regular feedback about learning.</li><li>Playing a proactive role in promoting the school through academic activities and thought leadership.</li><li>Monitoring student performance or assisting students in academic environments, such as classrooms, laboratories, internships or projects.</li><li>Supervising Dissertations/ Projects/ Internship as per the prescribed standards. </li><li>Participating in School’s activities as assigned by the Dean of the Faculty and/or Chief Academic Officer. </li></ul><strong> </strong><br><strong>Your tasks:</strong><br><br><strong>In line with the job responsibilities described earlier, your tasks mainly be one or more of the following as assigned by the Dean of the Faculty/ Chief Academic Officer:</strong><br><ul><li>Conducting Teaching Session</li><li>Mentoring and guiding students for accomplishing the desired learning outcomes </li><li>Supervising Dissertation</li><li>Guiding Projects and Internship activities</li><li>Preparation of Assignments and Tasks Descriptions for Assessment</li><li>Examination and Evaluation related work</li><li>Mentoring students and providing them regular feedback</li><li>Creating learning material and supporting resources</li><li>Any other academic tasks as assigned and mutually agreed.</li></ul><br>"

      "value": "<strong>Essential:</strong><br><ul><li>PhD or equivalent qualification with evidence of theoretical/ practical knowledge in your domain of expertise.</li><li>Strong knowledge of practical tools and techniques, if applicable, in your domain od knowledge. </li><li>Very good knowledge of Windows OS, of MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).</li><li>Fluent in spoken and written English (C2 level).</li><li>Very good organisational and communication skills.</li><li>High social competence and assertiveness.</li><li>Maintaining an overview even with high workloads.</li><li>Resilient and flexible.</li></ul><strong>Desirable:</strong><br><ul><li>Scientific publications in a related discipline. </li><li>Prior teaching experience in higher education at the University level.</li><li>Professional experience in your field of expertise.</li><li>Knowledge of Educational Platforms (i.e., Canvas, Blackboard etc.).</li><li>Sound knowledge of study regulations and rules.</li></ul><br>"
