Description

WithersRavenel is seeking a skilled and motivated SUE Technician to support our Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) team. In this role, you will assist the SUE Party Chief in locating underground utilities using electromagnetic (EM) and ground penetrating radar (GPR) technologies. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in utility locating who values accuracy, teamwork, and a strong safety culture. Responsibilities Collaborate with the SUE Party Chief and Project Managers to meet project goals and expectations Perform SUE field services for internal and external clients Accurately collect and document field data, ensuring quality and compliance with company and client standards Operate EM and GPR equipment safely and effectively Support vacuum excavation activities as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and properly equipped company vehicle Uphold safety standards and contribute to a safe work environment Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and teamwork in all interactions Embrace and reflect company core values: integrity, respect, quality, community, and sustainability
