Whether you’re launching coasters or safely loading them, you’ll be the one to make the thrills happen!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure Guest safety and satisfaction during their visit.</li>\n <li>Enforce all rider restrictions including monitoring and measuring for height requirements.</li>\n <li>Respond to any emergency situation in the area and maintain control until a Supervisor arrives.</li>\n <li>Be able to communicate proper hand signals as called for during ride operation.</li>\n <li>Watch ride and waiting Guests during the ride cycle.</li>\n <li>Physically check restraints.</li>\n <li>Assist Guests as they exit the ride.</li>\n <li>Manually open restraints when necessary.</li>\n <li>Operate the secondary control panel and visually monitor ride during operation and be prepared to stop the ride during critical situations.</li>\n <li>Validate Fast Passes at assigned rides and manage merge points to ensure guests are loaded onto the ride in a safe and timely manner.</li>\n <li>Successfully complete the International Ride Operator Certification (iROC) course through General Rides Training.</li>\n <li>Complete ride certification tests, corrected to 100% proficiency.</li>\n <li>Stand at the control panel of the ride and run the ride by pressing appropriate buttons, visually monitoring control panel for flashing lights/solid lights, and be prepared to stop the ride during critical situations.</li>\n <li>When assigned by a Rides Unit or Section Supervisor - perform test rides to ensure continued safety.</li>\n <li>Report any unsafe acts to your Unit or Section Supervisor</li>\n <li>Maintaining all aspects of ride area cleanliness by lining all trash cans with bags, emptying when full, wiping and re-bagging trash cans and carrying a pan and broom to sweep leaves, trash and debris</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>What You Will Need</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be 16 years or older</li>\n <li>In rides you must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and reach throughout your shift</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays</li>\n <li>Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions</li>\n <li>Ability to uphold safety policies consistently</li>\n</ul>",
