We even offer pet insurance for your four-legged family members.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Early access to earned wages with Daily Pay, tuition reimbursement to help further your career and adoption assistance to help you grow your family.   </li>\n</ul>\n<p>With a collective goal to champion a culture of belonging where everyone feels valued and respected, we honor the ways people are unique and embrace what brings us together.   </p>\n<p>And, we believe equipping you with support and development opportunities is a vital part of delivering an exceptional employment experience. </p>\n<p>Find a fulfilling career and make a difference with UnityPoint Health.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>                                           <strong>Clinical Excellence / Patient Care & Department Support Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Support patient care by assisting with activities aligned to the patient’s Plan of Care under nurse direction</li>\n <li>Deliver age-appropriate care following established guidelines, policies, and state/federal regulations</li>\n <li>Perform basic patient care tasks such as hygiene, nutrition, mobility support, vital signs, and specimen collection</li>\n <li>Assist with non-invasive procedures including oxygen setup, blood glucose testing, and simple dressings</li>\n <li>Accurately and promptly document all patient care activities</li>\n <li>Maintain a safe, clean, and organized care environment using standard precautions</li>\n <li>Identify and respond to patient safety needs, adjusting the environment as appropriate</li>\n <li>Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and care team members, escalating concerns in a timely manner</li>\n <li>Support efficient department operations by assisting with additional tasks as needed</li>\n <li>Demonstrate professionalism through teamwork, responsiveness, and clear communication including proper phone etiquette</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Experience:</strong> Must be at least 16 years old. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>License(s)/Certification(s): </strong>Successful completion and documentation of one of the following:</p>\n<li>Graduation from an accredited nursing program and waiting for NCLEX re-examination.</li>\n<li>Certified Nursing Assistant listed as either Active or Inactive on any state health care worker registry.</li>\n<li>EMT-B licensure.</li>\n<li>Medical Assistant.</li>\n<li>Must be enrolled in Trinity’s PCT on the job training program and successfully complete. </li>\n<li>Successful completion of first semester of nursing school that includes Nursing Fundamentals.</li>\n<li>Current CPR certification.</li>\n<p><strong>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:</strong> Writes, reads, comprehends and speaks fluent English. Multicultural sensitivity. Microsoft Office – basic computer skills. Customer/patient focused. Critical thinking skills using independent judgment in making decisions.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Other: </strong>Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position. Work may occasionally require travel to other UPH facilities. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>*Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs.
