Description

Description Be part of an amazing story Macy’s is more than just a store. We’re a story. One that’s captured the hearts and minds of America for more than 160 years. A story about innovations and traditions…about inspiring stores and irresistible products…about the excitement of the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks, and the wonder of the Thanksgiving Day Parade. We’ve been part of memorable moments and milestones for countless customers and colleagues. Those stories are part of what makes this such a special place to work. Job Overview The Talent Acquisition Coordinator introduces job candidates and new colleagues to Macy’s as they apply, interview, and begin their employment, and oversees a variety of administrative functions. Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week, while part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12-24 hours per week. Hours are dependent on business needs and colleague availability. Information regarding hours per week needed for benefit eligibility purposes can be found here. What You Will Do Identify hiring needs by reviewing reports and building relationships with local leaders and centralized partners. Post and maintain open positions on internal and external job boards; collaborate with partners to complete job templates in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Manage candidates through the ATS, assisting with recruitment activities such as interview scheduling, job fair coordination, and candidate greetings. Partner with Recruitment Operations and People Leaders to coordinate screening, interview calendars, and scheduling logistics. Schedule new hire start dates, notify People Leaders, and oversee the completion of new hire paperwork, orientation, and badge issuance. Provide new hires with resources on benefits, tax forms, direct deposit, and AskHR; facilitate payment for time spent on onboarding activities as needed. Manage job postings and candidate disposition when new hires do not report as scheduled. Obtain systems access for new hires and forward completed files to Colleague Services per company standards. Input and maintain colleague data, including status changes, transfers, promotions, and corrections. Participate in compliance audits, including I-9 reverifications and required postings. Respond to information requests from Colleague Advisors and forward appropriate file details. Assist People Leaders with attendance tracking and facilitate final pay documentation for exempt and non-exempt colleagues. Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality. Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities. In addition to the essential duties mentioned above, other duties may be assigned. Skills You Will Need Recruitment Operations: Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, interview coordination, candidate tracking, and onboarding activities using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
