Are you looking for an exciting opportunity that offers both paid training and room to grow?</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>If yes, then apply today for the position of Maintenance Technician at Electric Boat where we will assist in building the most advanced and sophisticated submarines in the world! </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>What We Offer:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Paid Training </li>\n <li>Medical, Dental, Vision</li>\n <li>401K plan with up to 6% employer match</li>\n <li>Paid Vacation and Holidays</li>\n <li>Shift Premium</li>\n <li>Health and Wellness Programs</li>\n <li>Commuter/Van Services/Ripta</li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement Programs</li>\n <li>Safety Boot Reimbursement Program</li>\n <li>Growth Opportunities</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of specialized mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems/ components.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>This technician will be working on CNC controlled cutting and pressing equipment as well as robotics.</li>\n <li>The technician reports directly to the maintenance operations supervisor and must possess the ability to maintain relationships with production and vendors.</li>\n <li>Looking for well-trained industrial maintenance technicians experienced with PLC, Robotics, TwinCat and electrical/mechanical troubleshooting and the capability to address day-to-day issues</li>\n <li>The ability to work with others and independently in a fast paced environment is crucial</li>\n <li>Willingness to further one’s knowledge base and skillset in a growing company with specialized equipment is necessary</li>\n <li>Having the ability to follow procedural compliance and engineered procedures is necessary.</li>\n <li>Attention to detail is necessary.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>This position is located at the Quonset Point facility in North Kingstown, RI.</strong></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Required:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent OR 2 plus years of related technical experience</li>\n <li>2+ years of facilities/machine maintenance experience.</li>\n <li>Employee may be required to work overtime and/or stay into a later shift to return equipment to service</li>\n <li>Must possess a valid driver’s license</li>\n <li>Must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces and extreme temperature conditions as required</li>\n <li>Must be available to work all shifts</li>\n <li>Individuals are required to possess their own basic hand tools</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Specific trade licensing e.g. Electrical, HVAC/refrigeration</li>\n <li>Knowledge of hydraulic system component diagnostics, repair and failure analysis of valves, stacks, pistons, and rams in excess of 5000 PSI operating pressure.</li>\n <li>Past mechanical/electrical or hydraulic trade school or apprenticeship.</li>\n <li>Proven robotics experience (Panasonic, Sinumerik, Fanuc)</li>\n <li>CMMS</li>\n <li>Vocational, Technical and Community Colleges or Apprentice programs</li>\n <li>Military</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills are key to this role</li>\n <li>Attention to detail</li>\n <li>The ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.</li>\n <li>Previous experience with PLC’s to include effectively diagnosing analog and digital field components, along with input/output devices.</li>\n <li>A basic understanding of electrical systems to include 600 volt and below including various control voltage.</li>\n <li>Working from ladders and lifts while wearing fall protection.</li>\n <li>Experience using various types of diagnostic tools and meters to include volt meters, amp meters, resistive measuring devices, meggers, data loggers, micrometers, calipers, test gauges, and temperature measuring devices.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Physical Qualifications</h2>Climbing, Color Vision, Crawling, Kneeling, Light Lifting, Medium Lifting, Pulling, Pushing, Reaching, Stooping, Twisting\n<h2>Environmental Attributes</h2>Acids or Alkalis, Cold, Dry, Dusty, Fumes, Hot, Inside, Noise, Oily, Outside, Wet",
